All appointments are now conducted at Bristol Aviation Medicals, Belvedere House (within the Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club Building), Silver Zone, Bristol Airport, BS48 3DP.

As you reach the airport, follow signs for the Silver Zone, then the Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club building. There is car parking available just before you reach Belvedere House.

Please see Fees page for cancellation policy.

EASA certificates may be renewed up to 45 days before the date of expiry without loss of validity.

Each examination comprises a medical questionnaire and physical examination. Additional investigations such as an ECG (heart tracing), audiogram (hearing test) and blood tests may also be required in accordance with EASA/FAA regulations. A urine sample is always required so please try to attend with a fairly full bladder.

You should allow one hour for a medical examination. Combined EASA and FAA examinations can be requested at the time of booking and will take 90 minutes. Unless any additional information or investigations are required, medical certificates can usually be issued at the end of the examination.

CHAPERONE POLICY If you would like a chaperone, please let us know at the time of booking. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring someone to accompany you for the examination.
