UK CAA certificates may be renewed up to 45 days before the date of expiry without loss of validity.

Each examination comprises a medical questionnaire and physical examination. Additional investigations such as an ECG (heart tracing), audiogram (hearing test) and blood tests may also be required in accordance with CAA/FAA regulations. A urine sample is always required so please try to attend with a fairly full bladder.

You should allow one hour for a medical examination. Combined CAA and FAA examinations can be requested at the time of booking. Unless any additional information or investigations are required, medical certificates can usually be issued at the end of the examination.

CHAPERONE POLICY can be found here. If you would like a chaperone, please let us know at the time of booking.
